Jeffrey M. Burns practices heavily in real estate transactions; oil, gas and mineral rights; formation of business entities; gun trusts; estate and trust planning; and probate. He also has civil litigation experience with consumer law, real estate, oil and gas, probates, guardianships, and water rights.
Mr. Burns has appellate experience including being the lead attorney for the prevailing party in the unanimous 2014 Texas Supreme Court decision of KEY OPERATING EQUIPMENT INC v. HEGAR.
Mr. Burns is admitted to practice in the Southern and Western Federal Districts of Texas. He has appeared before multiple state and federal district courts, appellate courts, and the Texas Supreme Court on behalf of his clients.
