Jeffrey M. Burns practices heavily in real estate transactions; oil, gas, and mineral rights; formation of business entities; gun trusts; estate and trust planning; and probate. He also has civil litigation experience with consumer law, real estate, oil and gas, probate, guardianship, and water rights. He has obtained multi-million dollar verdicts, settlements and transactional net profits for his clients.
Mr. Burns has appellate experience including being the lead attorney for the prevailing party in the unanimous 2014 Texas Supreme Court decision of KEY OPERATING EQUIPMENT INC v. HEGAR.
Mr. Burns is admitted to practice in the Southern and Western Federal Districts of Texas. He has appeared before multiple state and federal district courts, appellate courts, and the Texas Supreme Court on behalf of his clients.

Shelly Megan Shaw was born and raised in the greater Houston area, and she attended Texas A&M University for her undergraduate degree. Shelly graduated from the Communication Department with honors. While at Texas A&M, Shelly was highly involved with the athletic department, the 12th Man Foundation, and the Corps of Cadets. Shelly practices heavily in criminal defense law, family law, and civil litigation.
